2011 CALENDARS ARE READY! COME AND GET 'EM!

The 2011 New England Brittany Rescue calendar is at the printer and will be available for purchase shortly. However, if you'd like to pre-order one now, you can send your check for $20 to Pam Blades. Calendars will be mailed out as soon as they are back from the printer, hopefully by November 30. They make wonderful gifts for your dog sitter, dog walker and your vet too! You can also purchase them using paypal . As you are aware, this is one of our major fundraising efforts, and monies are always needed for medical costs for the Brittanys that need our help

CORA UPDATE!!

Cora is finally in her forever home and doing great! She was adopted by someone who, as a premature infant, suffered from the same heart condition. Sometimes things are just meant to be! Cora is learning some commands and her new mom says she is very smart. (Of course, we knew that...) NEBR is still shy of covering all of her medical costs, so if you have some "pocket change" to spare, donations are always welcome.

BEACH BASH NEWS!

About 50 Brittanys and their human families enjoyed a wonderful day at the Annual Beach Bash in early October. The weather was perfect for a day to be on the water, and the four leggers and two leggers alike walked, enjoyed some yummy picnic food and got a chance to connect, converse and share Brittany stories. It was a chance for former foster parents as well to see some of the dogs that once lived with them. All in all, it was a a wonderful day.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Sally, formerly Treasure, adopted in '09, strutted her stuff at a dog event in MA and was awarded "Most Friendly Dog." Way to go, Sally -- we at NEBR are proud of you!!!

BRITTANY OF THE MONTH

DOG OF THE MONTH

Toby has been adopted !!!!
Meet Tobey, a sweet and well-trained male Brittany whose owner moved to Scotland, and unfortunately, was not able to take this handsome boy along. Tobey is 8 years old, house trained, and while he could be in a crate, it is not necessary. He is "out and about" during the day when his foster parents are at work. Tobey used to go to work with his former owner...she was a home health care provider, so that definitely speaks to his ability to settle down. Good with other dogs, children and cats, Tobey is a wonderful boy who deserves his forever home. Might it be yours?
